ELEMENTS OF A PRIVATE YOGA SESSION
A private session will be tailored to your individual needs,and will address any injuries or surgeries you may have had and any limitations of strength or flexibility. We will also focus on developing a home practice, which may consist of a combination of the following:
- Warm-up stretches
- Six to ten poses that are repeated and linked together in a series, each pose flowing into the next. A few rounds of this series at the beginning of class will loosen and warm up your body.
- A selection of individual poses: back bends, forward bends, twists, balancing poses and inversions
- A guided, deep relaxation process
- A series of breathing exercises that detoxify your body, increase oxygen, reduce stress, and calm your mind.
$90 per hour. If you schedule three hours or more, the fee is reduced to $75 per hour. Regular sessions are a wonderful gift to yourself. However, if you cannot afford them, I highly recommend coming for one session to help you set up a home practice, and also learn safety precautions that you need to take if you attend a group class. Yoga is a very healing for your body if practiced correctly. If practiced incorrectly you can sustain injuries. To find a group class follow this link to a directory of yoga centers:
